Apple iPhone 4 review:
Everyone wants their hands on the brand new Apple iPhone 4! But is it really worth what you’re paying for?
Hi, today I’m going to be telling you some of the pros and cons of this new Apple iPhone. But first my user experience and first impressions:
When I got home and unboxed it (being very excited of course) I didn’t have any doubts about this phone and just couldn’t wait to get it plugged into my computer. My first impressions were that I thought that Apple had done a good job designing the phone and had the best screen on a phone I’ve ever seen.
Now my user experience: I was a little unhappy with the product because it didn’t function as well as I expected. Within the first month the “home button” was playing up and wasn’t working and when it was working it took a very long time to get back to the home screen (a lot longer than the previous version of iPhone). Not too happy on that but you get used to it.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
It is much faster and holds a lot more battery than the previous generation (3GS).
It is one of the best phones I've used.
The app store is very promising and has an app for almost everything.
Very strong! I have dropped my iPhone multiple times and the screen isn’t scratched or has cracks or dints, however it scratches but not as much as the previous gen.
Practically millions of covers to protect iPhone (see above dot point).
The most advanced and clearest screen I have ever seen! And I mean the most clearest EVER!
Cons:
It isn’t as fast as I thought it would be but improved compared to the 3GS.
The home button doesn’t respond as quickly as you would expect and the more data you use up on your iPhone the slower the reaction of the home button.
In the phone speaker at the top it can get a little dirty and hard to clean, and in the mute/unmute button it can get dirty as well (also hard to clean).
